Why not India or Indianapolis, Ecuador or Paducah, Egypt or Ashville… (or for that matter Nashville, New York or Florida)?.

A place where ancient and modern commune and people of all stripes break bread (and arancine). It also happens to be the place where both sides of Paul’s family hail from.

We’ve seen a good bit of this crazy world, both separately and together, and yet the little corner of southeastern Sicily, tucked away among centuries-old olive groves and nurtured by volcanic soil, feels exactly right.

We imagine that our friends and family (Sicilian, not, or honorary), will also agree—where under a starry spring sky we can all celebrate love and life together, honoring old traditions and creating new ones.

Oh, and the wine’s pretty good too.
